days!
This special ski touring program in the beautiful mountains of Montenegro will go beyond your expectation. We will be located in the wild areas of Kolasin and Durmitor, which usually have good snow conditions. Additionally, this region also has great food and wine, a great combination for sport and relaxation.
The pickup point will be at Podgorica airport, the capital city of Montenegro. We will then transfer to Kolasin for about 1:30 hours. Once settle at the hotel, we will get ready to start this adventure!
Some of the highlights of this program are:
- Tree and side country skiing in Kolasin
- Skiing up and ski couliours on the Bijelasica ridge
- Taking a cable car to the top of Mt. Bijelasica, and descend skiing to the south side of the Jelovica valley
- Skiing in the Sinjavina Mountain from the Gornje Lipovo valley
- Skiing up to the Lucka Gora saddle (1,800 m)
- The ascent on Sljeme (2,455 m), one of the highest summits of Durmitor
The basic equipment you will need for this program is ski touring equipment, warm clothes, crampons and ice axe.
