GRENADA TOUR – 3 DAYS ON THE SLICE OF PARADISE from $2000

Welcome to Grenada, a hidden charm with untouched beauty offering a lifestyle so pure and authentic that you will feel instantly renewed.

Grenada, with its unspoiled landscapes, has a perfect balance, appealing to the interest of adventure lovers, beach dwellers, or couples looking for a romantic destination. This English-speaking nation has some of the friendliest people in the Caribbean, so, even if you happen to get lost, you will surely encounter other aspects of our vibrant culture and hospitality.

Grenada is accessible from major international cities including Miami, New York, Toronto, London, and from the Caribbean. International flights stop at Maurice Bishop International Airport. In addition, cruise ships serving our islands depart from Florida and Puerto Rico.

We proudly to introduce you the excellent “3 days on the slice of paradise”, which will bring you to another paradise on earth. Let’s get started!

The first day: Say hello to St George city

Here’s an opportunity to experience Grenada’s colorful culture and natural beauty. Spend a half-day visiting the island’s top sites. Begin your tour with a visit to St. George’s, the island’s capital, and see its historical landmarks. From Fort George you’ll have 360-degree views of the city, the island’s mountainous interior, and of Grand Anse Beach to the south.

Stop at the local market and marvel at the variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and spices.

After visiting the capital, you’ll take a scenic 20-minute drive to Annandale Falls. This is the perfect opportunity to swim and to be entertained by the official jumpers. Enjoy a walk through the surrounding tropical gardens.

Another major natural attraction is the Grand Etang Rainforest. Situated nearly 2,000 feet above the sea, the forest features native wildlife, numerous trails, and scenic lookouts that offer views of different parts of Grenada. Visit the crater lake, a natural volcanic feature of the island.

Freely enjoy vibrant restaurants and bars and shops. There’s also entertainment on offer that’s provided by local musicians.

After visiting the rainforest, you’ll continue on to Grenada Distillers, home of world-renowned Clarke’s Court products. This is the maker of the island’s top rum. After a 5-minute tour of the operation, you’ll get to sample many of the products!

Lastly, you will visit a lovely white sand beach to relax and enjoy lunch before returning to the hotel.

The second day: Spice day

Grenada has been dubbed “Spice Island” because of the impressive amounts of nutmeg, cloves, mace, cinnamon, ginger & cocoa grown here. Join this day trip from St. George to Concord Waterfall, River Antoine Rum Distillery, Belmont Estate & Pearls Airport.

Leaving St George’s behind we drive past the stadium on our right and up the scenic west coast, rich in history and color.

Concord Waterfall is our first stop, a 1.2 miles drive up a leafy lane beside a stream, dotted with Grenadian agriculture: nutmeg, bananas, cocoa, and many other plants of interest.

The next stop is the nutmeg “pool” in Gouyave. You are shown the seasoning, processing, and sorting of nutmegs and mace. Nutmeg products vary from syrup to massage oil, garden mulch to nail varnish; even a pain-relieving spray.

We continue northward to a magnificent view of Grenada’s Grenadine islands, and of the place where the last fighting Caribs committed suicide in 1651, overwhelmed by the prospect of French rule.

The next stop is the River Antoine Rum Distillery: the place is as antique (1785) as the rum is strong (75% alcohol – ouch). It can be hard to believe that the place is a working distillery, not an elderly museum.

By now, at Belmont Estate, a delightful rural setting, good, varied local food from a buffet; and a cocoa bean fermented on site, you will enjoy your lunch. We then continue through La Poterie and Tivoli, then through Pearls Airport, disused since the Americans ‘intervened’ in 1983.

After driving through Grenville, Grenada’s second biggest town, we set off to the middle of the Island, to the mountainous rain forest, where we stop at Grand Etang crater lake. Then we head back to St. George.

The third day: It’s time to become a part of this beautiful island.

After two days full of freshness, you now can decide on your own to become a resident in Grenada by Citizenship By Investment program. The government has promoted the program which allows investors to gain Grenada passport to get visa-free to more than 140 countries in the world. Grenada’s CBI program allows individuals and their families to obtain Grenadian citizenship.

On this day you will visit Kawana Bay, GRENADA’S NEWEST 5-STAR RESORT, under the final construction phase. It is rare enough to find beachfront property for sale these days, rarer still to find such property in a 5-Star branded resort environment like Kimpton Kawana Bay.

Offering unrivaled tranquility and breathtaking views overlooking miles of golden sands and turquoise sea, Kimpton Kawana Bay is a slice of paradise, yet just a 12-minute drive from Grenada’s international airport.

Taking its name from the leatherback turtles that frequent the waters around Grenada, the hotel has a beachfront location on Grand Anse Beach, a nesting ground for these wonderful creatures.

If you are visiting with your children, there are plenty of things to keep them busy while you get a much-deserved rest.  Kimpton Kawana Bay will also be a place where couples can reconnect over sundowners at the beach bar in Kimpton Kawana Bay’s fine dining restaurant, or enjoy a meal “al fresco” on the terrace of the lounge bar to the sound of waves lapping on the moonlit beach.

After the visit, you can enjoy the rest of your day in St George or discuss further your interest of purchase in the Kawana Bay project and your chance to become a citizen of Grenada.
